The Kleeman Klan: Omaha

We've had a blast these past 3 days. Brad and I were fortunate enough to get to go to 3 baseball games at Rosenblatt Stadium. We watched the TCU/UCLA game and the final 2 championship games between South Carolina and UCLA. Way to go Gamecocks! The final game Tuesday night was awesome - 11 innings and a 2-1 SC win! The place was electric and we were so excited to have been there!

Wednesday we traveled to West Point, and some other small towns, to see some of Brad's family and where his family members are buried. It was really a neat trip!

The cannon belonged to Brad's Grandpa Kleeman and is a real, working cannon. He used to shoot this off during the 4th of July.

This is a picture of a cattle yard. There were several of these along the way to the next small town we visited.

This is the Wisner Cemetery in Wisner, NE. There were several of Brad's Grandma's family members buried here. I thought this was such a nice entrance into the cemetery.

We stopped in Dodge, NE to eat lunch. This restaurant was called "The Bankquit." It used to be an old bank that went out of business. There were 5 of us eating and our lunch plate consisted of 2 chicken breasts, potato salad, broccoli, and a slice of watermelon. We also shared 2 pieces of pie - peanut butter and raspberry creme and the total was $31!! Can you believe that?? That means that each plate was about $5 and the pies were $1.50. Unbelievable!!
