Sunday was a gorgeous day here, so we headed to Atlanta Botanical Gardens. It was 60 degrees and sunny and it was just a great day to be outside. After several days of rainy and cold and upcoming rainy and cold days, 60 degrees seemed like 80. We were all excited to be outside and to see the sunshine!
All the water features were a hit with Parker and Hannah.
Hannah enjoyed her mode of transportation!
The slide was a hit with Parker and Hannah. They both went up and down several times.
Love her sweet expression!
Since we've been going to the gardens for several seasons, we can really see how Parker is growing up. We used to have to help him go up the stairs and down the slide . . . now, he can do it all by himself. We are so happy for him, but a little sad at the same time (just because we know it means he's turning into a big boy)!
Our growth wall - we have to stop here every time we go to the gardens to see how much the kids have grown. It's really a great picture to have and look back on - enjoy!

Hannah loved walking all over. This was the first time was able to walk around at the gardens.
Hannah was so proud of herself that she could go down the slide all by herself!
Just chillin' in the gardens with my shades on!
Hannah was all excited when she found the smoothie in my bag . . .
But, not so happy when I wouldn't let her have it!
Cool dudette
Sweet Hannah
Hannah loved the canopy walk
See the lip gloss in Hannah's hand??? Well, that is the last picture I have of that tube (and it was brand new). Hannah kept picking up leaves, mulch and rocks while she was walking, so I "traded" with her and gave her my lip gloss. Unfortunately, that lip gloss became a casuality of our trip and it is now "one with the garden." Oh well, at least it was something that can easily be replaced.
While Dad and Hannah walked up a daffodil path, Parker and I chilled out on the benches by the pond.
"Sup" people!
Just a boy, chillin' on the bench with his shades on!
The kids look so sweet in the daffodil garden.
