Parker's Egg Hunt and Party

Friday, Parker had his Easter egg hunt and party at his preschool.  It was a beautiful day and we had tons of fun and Parker enjoyed hunting eggs!  It was really cute watching all the little kiddos walk around and hunt for eggs.
The kids started off in the room listening to the rules, but this wasn't too fun for the kids - hah!
After listening to the rules, the teachers opened the doors and "released the hounds!"  They all had their egg cartons ready to find eggs.  I thought the egg carton was a great idea - that way every kiddo could get 12 eggs!
Mrs. Heather, Parker's teacher, showing him where some eggs were laying.
Parker caught on pretty quick to finding eggs and putting them in the slot!
Whew, hunting eggs is hard work - hah!
Parker and his classmates with his teachers - Easter 2012
Parker with his favorite teacher, Mrs. Angela.  They always eat lunch together on Monday at school (it's called Lunch Bunch) and they both look forward to that time together.  Mrs. Angela is a sweet teacher and we are very blessed for Parker to be in her class.
After the egg hunt, it was time to eat!  Take a look at this table!!  There are some super-creative mom's in the class.
Parker and his classmates praying before digging in!  Of course, Parker ate everything on his plate - hah!

Hannah is 4 months old!

Hannah turned 4 months old on March 19.  I can't believe 4 months have already gone by!  It is just crazy how fast time goes - especially now with 2 kiddos!  At Hannah's 4 month check up, we got some good news and some not so-good news.  The not-so-good news is that she has a little bit of a cold and a mild ear infection - BOO!  Other than that, she's perfectly fine and healthy!

Hannah weighed 16.7lbs (95th percentile) and measured 27in long!  Dr. Vicki said Hannah is off the charts in height, meaning, she's "above" the 99th percentile, because she doesn't even register on the growth chart!  I started laughing because she and Parker are soooo different!

I looked at Parker's measurements when he was 4 months and he was almost 15lbs and 26in long, so that was about the 50th percentile for him.  Here he is at 4 months - CRAZY!
This picture was taken during the "height" of Hannah's cold and you can tell she just doesn't feel too good - poor thing!  She's been this way for about a week and luckily, it does seem like she's starting to get better.  The pediatrician gave me an antibiotic for her ears, so I hope that takes care of it.  She is eating small amounts about every 2-3 hours (even during the night), so the last week it's been a little rough in our house.  We were very spoiled with her sleeping through the night since she was 6 weeks!
Other than her cold and congestion, she is a sweet, happy little girl.  She loves it when Brad and I talk to her and she has a cute little giggle.  She can roll from her stomach to her back and she loves to be in her jungle gym and bouncer because she likes to pull at her toys.  She loves to "stand" and I believe she's going to be a Daddy's girl - hah!
In other news . . . one morning when I was pulling into the driveway, I saw a turkey standing by our garage door!  So, I stopped at the top of our driveway and grabbed my camera and started taking pics.  It was the neatest thing!  The turkey just walked slowly across our yard, went across the street into the neighbor's yard, then down their backyard into the woods.  We heard several of them gobbling the night before when we were outside, so it was neat to see one so close!
Monday night Parker had school spirit night at Chick-fil-A for his preschool.  The cow was there, along with both of his teachers, so he got to sit with Mrs. Heather and eat his grilled nuggets with her.  We had a lot of fun!

What's Up with The Kleeman's?

Well, you've probably been wondering where in the world are the Kleeman's?  Time seems to go by super fast now - between work, 2 kiddos and keeping up with house chores, sometimes it seems like there are not enough hours in the day!  Hopefully this post will catch everyone up on what we've been doing the past 2 weeks - enjoy!

On St. Patrick's Day, we went to the Atlanta Botanical Gardens.  We enjoy going there and Parker likes it too (and he gets a great workout)!
The tulips were in full bloom and they were gorgeous!
We went to the kid area and let Parker explore.  Here is their growth chart - hah!
Parker at 3ft - a day lily
Hannah at 2ft - the stalk of a day lily
Brad and Parker checking out the cool rocks in the cave.
There was a pond with about 6 big bullfrogs - pretty cool!
Parker loves the slide!
Brad and Parker in the treehouse!
These were my favorite tulips!
It was really hot (about 85), so we took lots of breaks and sat in the shade several times.
On our way out, I spotted this cute little guy.  Parker wasn't too interested, but I was fascinated by him - hah!
Hannah was all smiles celebrating her 1st St. Patty's Day!
The next day, we took some family pics and then went to Gibbs Gardens (which is close to our house).
Hannah was really into posing and smiling!
Brad has done a great job with all our daffodils and tulips in our yard!
At Gibbs Gardens, they have several statues in the kid area.  Parker was fascinated by this one - he would keep looking at me, then looking at the statue.  I told him it was ok and he could touch it - he was really cute touching the statue so gently!
This Saturday, we were back at Gibbs again.  It's just an awesome place to go to spend a beautiful day outside and Parker gets to run around.  This is our 4th time going and we still haven't covered all the grounds!
Parker's face cracks me up - he is totally thinking, "This bear isn't real is it Mom?"
Checking out the rocks along the path (Parker stopped and did this several times)!
Parker totally posed like this on his own - cracked me up!
We had to get a picture with the kiddos in front of the beautiful azaelas.  I tried to get Brad in a picture, but he wouldn't do it.
Little Miss Hannah totally enjoys smiling and posing for the camera - hah!  Isn't her shirt the cutest thing ever??  My talented friend and co-worker, Joanna, made matching Easter bunny shirts for her and Parker.
Parker was absolutely worn out and was in a deep sleep about 5 minutes of us starting to drive home.  Brad and I were laughing so hard at Parker's face - hah!
