Thursday I took Jake to the doggie park. This is a huge area the city of Omaha has turned into a great place for dogs to be leash-free. They have 2 separate areas - 1 for small dogs and 1 for all dogs. It's great and Jake loves it. It's like doggie daycare for Jake. He can pee everywhere and meet other doggie friends.
He ran all over and mingled a little. Here he is with a new friend! Hah!
At this point, Jake had run enough and was ready to head home.
When we got home, Brad's neices were there. They helped Grandma Kleeman cook lunch for everyone. We had shrimp, potatoes and jello with fruit inside, and the oldest neice made a yummy dessert. Great job girls!
Veronica with Jake
Christiana with Parker - she was such a great little helper with him!
Friday, we went to Brad's house where he grew up. I had never seen the inside of his house, so it was neat to see it.
This is Brad's garage where he became a great baseball player. If you look just to the left of Parker, you'll see a square drawn on the wall. Brad drew this for his "target" when practicing throwing and working on ground balls. It's funny - I had the same set-up in my garage to work on my pitching! Hah!
This is outside Brad's old house. We had to take a picture of Parker in the grass!
Some things never change - like father, like son - right? Hah!
