Another fun-filled couple of days here in Omaha. Saturday we had the annual Kleeman Family fish fry. Brad's Uncle Randy, fries the fish that he catches on his annual fishing trip. This year we had Northern Pike. He has 2 deep fryers that he makes the fish in. The batter is his "special" recipe that's not one bit greasy! Oh my, it was so yummy! Thanks Uncle Randy!
Parker hung out in the golf cart while we finished eating. He really enjoys being in the golf cart! Hmmm, I wonder if this will be in his future??!!
Jake enjoyed the extra attention from the family.

After dinner, we had a big workout with Parker - to work off all his food. He crawled away from all of us and up 2 stairs to get his water - he was so thirsty! Hah!
It didn't take Parker long to figure out where the stairs are in Grandma's house. So, now we have to REALLY keep our eyes on him at all times. Grandma had to block the entrance into the kitchen while she was cooking, so Parker wouldn't go near the stairs (see the cooler and the chair on its side, in the background). It works for now, until Parker figures out how to move those objects. Hah!
Sunday, we took Parker to a pony ride. The pony ride was free and it was a beautiful day. Parker had a blast and he really thought he was hot stuff riding the ponies. He actually got to ride twice - once with me and once with Grandma.

By the pony rides, there was a car show, so we looked at all the cool cars. They had all types of cars, ranging from the 40s-70s. Parker was pretty impressed with this '49 baby blue Ford truck.
Parker sportin' his new ride. I had to get a new "umbrella" type stroller for Parker. The little cheap one we had wasn't doing a good job, so I got another one while here in Nebraska. This one is much, much better. I actually put it together in the parking lot, and I was quite proud of myself that I was able to figure it out fairly quickly. Parker seems to like it pretty good.
After the pony ride and car show, we took Parker to a park. He loved swinging!
Grandma and I went on this swing with Parker. He loved it and he was trying to figure out how we were all swinging together. It was very relaxing. While Parker was on the swing, he didn't move one bit. He even bobbed his head a couple of times, because he was so relaxed! Hah!
For dinner, we ate at Big Fred's pizza. This is a favorite, local pizza place and it was packed! We were at the pizza joint for almost 2 hours, but it was worth it. The pizza was great, Parker was well-behaved, and we had a great time with Brad's parents and their friends, Lee and Kathy. Thanks so much for a great time!
