Tuesday, Parker got his right ear tube put in (he had the left one in December, but the doctor couldn't do the right at that time, because there was a hole - caused from his first ear tube, so we had to wait for that hole to heal).  By the way, that hole closed about a week after his December ear surgery!

Anyway, we had quite a memorable experience at the hospital.  Parker went 18 hours without food because his surgery time got pushed back, while we were in the waiting room, because they were "running behind."  It was not fun at all and Parker didn't understand why he was hungry and we weren't feeding him.  Poor little guy!  Needless to say, we are all glad that we are finished with that day!

Parker recovering after surgery.  His sad little face makes me sad too!  He was able to eat a 2 graham crackers at 5:30 that evening, before leaving the hospital - that was his first "food" since having milk at 11:30pm the previous evening!

When we got home, he got sick and threw up his dinner, so that wasn't fun either!  After that, he fell right asleep at 7:15 and slept a solid 12 hours without hardly moving.  He probably would have slept more, but I had to wake him up because he had his 2 1/2 year check up at the pediatrican first thing Wednesday morning.

We had a good visit - 32lbs - 60th percentile and almost 37in - 70th percentile!  We are so happy with our little man's progress - he's doing super.  It's amazing how kids "peak" when they are ready!

This is one of his favorite poses - he puts his hand on the small of his back and pokes out his belly - H-I-L-A-R-I-O-U-S!!!

This is Parker's other favorite activity - pushing chairs.  He loves Dr. Vicki's stool because it's on wheels and easy to push - hah!

This was also pre-Dr. V coming in.  As soon as she walked into the room, he started crying and he didn't stop until about 30 seconds AFTER she left the room, at the end of our visit!
