Today, October 11 marks the 8-year anniversary of my dad's passing. It's hard to believe it's been 8 years - it really seems like yesterday. I still miss him dearly and think about him every day. It makes me so sad to think about all the things he has missed out on, and all the things to come, that he won't be able to be there with me. I know he is in heaven, along with my grandparents, looking down upon us, but it's still not the same. I love you dad!

For all my friends that read this, please give your dad a hug and kiss, in honor of my dad. Call your dad and tell him you love him! There is nothing like a dad's love! Trust me, you will miss your dad when he's gone.
