We are loving the weather this weekend! Saturday we went to Gibbs Gardens and admired all their daffodils. You'll see lots of daffodils in the following pictures and they aren't even in peak bloom! We'll be visiting Gibbs over the next several weekends, so more daffodil pics to come. The kids loved being at the garden and both were worn out and took great naps!
Everyone was ready to go!
Hannah stretching her legs before taking off - hah!
One of my faves!
Hannah was interested in every little thing along the trail. She picked up rocks, pine mulch and acorns!
Love this picture of Hannah and the daffodils!
Hannah loved the bridge - she walked back and forth several times!
Hannah made a new friend - Mr. Fox. She was absolutely fascinated with this statue!
Yep, Hannah is giving Mr. Fox a kiss . . .
And other one!
Sunday's weather was even better than Saturday - 70 degrees and sunny! We were going to go to the zoo, but we decided to just stay home and play in the backyard. We pulled out several outside toys and balls and the kids had a blast. Our plan of staying home and playing worked, because the kids came in from outside, ate lunch, and both took 3 1/2 hour naps!
They both enjoyed a little stroll in the wagon.
Hannah loves her new cup with a straw (she thinks she's "big-stuff").
Parker got a little throwing lesson from Dad
I'm sure Hannah was wondering why I rolled the baseball to her instead of the softball - hah!
Sweet Jake - he has a birthday coming up this week - he'll be 8!!
Hannah was more interested in taking a water break than playing ball - hah!
Parker worked hard throwing, hitting and running, so he treated himself to some time in the sandbox - hah!
Hannah really didn't think too much of my glove . . .
Or the sandbox - hah!
She is so proud of herself that she can climb up the steps of the playset all by herself!
Taking a water break!
Hannah really loves the slide! She even did it once by herself!
