Hannah turned 6 months on May 19. I absolutely cannot believe how fast time is going! It seems like just yesterday we were headed to the hospital getting ready to meet her! We had her 6 month check-up Friday and everything went great. She weighed 19.14lbs and measured 28.25in, which puts her in the 90-95th percentile in both areas. She's going to be a big girl! She is growing and healthy and we are so blessed!
Hannah on the day she was born . . .
2 months . . .

6 months
Hannah and Jake are big buddies. Hannah is absolutely fascinated with him and every time he comes near her, she just smiles and giggles.
Hannah can sit up on her own pretty well. She still falls over some, but she is getting more stable sitting every day! She is also trying to "talk" and she coos a lot.
Grandma Henry came to visit, so Hannah (and Parker) both got spoiled!
Hannah is a very "smiley" girl. She loves smiling for the camera and even tries to reach and grab it. She's pretty outgoing and recognizes myself, Brad, Parker and Jake.
She's also a good sleeper - she sleeps through the night (unless she's rolling over or needs her paci - then she might wake up for a few seconds, but then goes back to sleep), bedtime at 8pm and wakes up around 6-7am. She takes short morning naps and a long afternoon nap.
Parker is starting to interact with her more. For a while, he didn't want anything to do with her, but now that she's more interactive, Parker is starting to play with her and entertain her.
I thought it was very sweet they were swinging together and then he helped push Hannah in her swing!
However, that only lasted for a second, because Parker was off to mowing the yard - hah!
Hannah loves her Daddy!
We celebrated Hannah's 6 month birthday by getting Parker a tee and bat - hah! He caught on pretty quick, but his face and body language in this picture cracks me up!
I started Hannah on cereal about 2 weeks ago and she has caught on to the concept pretty well. This was her very first taste of the cereal. The first few bites were a little rough, but then she liked it. We were also fairly clean - neither one of us had cereal all over, so that was good - hah! (Look at her belly - I would say she's pretty content!)
Hannah's first time in the highchair eating her cereal. This worked so much better than her bouncer seat. She is a very "on-the-go" and alert baby, so in the bouncer she was moving all over and trying to sit up and roll off - hah! But, in the highchair, she's strapped in and she can't go anywhere! However, in the highchair, we were a bit more messy with the cereal, but that's ok - that's what makes it fun!
Hannah can get up on all fours now and she will rock back and forth. She can "crawl" backwards and side to side - she just hasn't figured out how to go forward yet. She will try and she just falls on her belly. I know it won't be long, then the fun will really begin!
Hannah and Parker had their first wrestling match about 2 weeks ago. I'm pretty sure Hannah won - hah!
Hannah got to ride in the shopping cart for the first time when I went to the store last week. She's probably about two weeks away from being completely stable in the cart, but it was definitely a good workout for her. She slept a long, long time when we got home that day!
And, of course, I have to end with a picture of Jake. He is just a sweet little guy and is a good sport with Hannah when she tries to touch him and pull on him.
