Parker had an awesome last 2 weeks of preschool. What a great year it was for him! The end of year preschool fun began about 2 weeks ago with a preschool program where all the preschoolers "graduated" and walked across the stage with a certificate.
The preschool sang a few songs with their teachers (Parker is on the back row, in the middle, looking towards me - he's by Mrs. Heather, his teacher)
Then, there was a slide show of all the preschoolers - Parker had 3 cute pictures!
Hannah was very cooperative and cheered for her big brother - hah!
Parker got to walk across the stage with his teacher, Mrs. Heather and get his certificate - it was too cute!

Then, the next week, at Parker's other preschool, they had a fun end of year party with the Kona Ice truck! It's a mobile icee truck - it's awesome! You can even rent it for birthday parties (which gives me a great idea for his upcoming birthday)!
All the kids were so excited about their icees!
Parker waited patiently in line until it was his turn. Mrs. Heather got Parker a green icee to match his shirt!
Parker and his classmates enjoying their icee!
After the icee, the kids ran around and played on the playground for a while.
Then, they came inside and worked on a craft (a foam picture frame). Parker and Mrs. Heather worked on his together - so sweet!
Parker was so proud of himself!
Then, it was Parker's favorite part - lunch time!! He got to sit with his favorite teacher, Mrs. Angela, and they ate their lunch together.
Hannah entertained herself in her Bumbo seat - LOVE the Bumbo!
Parker and his awesome teachers - Mrs. Angela and Mrs. Heather
Parker gave Mrs. Angela a kiss before we left - it was so sweet. We are really going to miss both his teachers next year, but especially Mrs. Angela. She and Parker really bonded and I so appreciate all the extra love and attention she gave to him each day at school.
Then, for Parker's final end of year fun - he had preschool field day!! This was so fun and I'm so glad I have the memories of getting to share this day with Parker.
The parachute - I believe this is a standard at any school field day - hah!
The parachute was hard work, so the boys took a break at the bubble station (notice they are all sitting down) - hah!
The next event was egg matching - Parker really liked this station!
After the egg station, they did an egg relay, which was super fun. Then, they had some free time, so Parker ran laps on the basketball court - hah!
After field day, was over, they came into class and did a few activities. Mrs. Heather read a book to the boys (Parker is in the red chair and looking at me, instead of paying attention - hah)!
Then, they worked on tossing and catching a bean bag. while learning colors and shapes.
Then, Parker showed me how he can do an activity on the computer.
It's a cause and effect game. The picture on the screen is animated and when it stops, you have to touch the screen to make it change color, shape and sound. Parker has this mastered and really enjoyed this computer activity.
After the classroom activities, it was snack time - watermelon and cheese cubes. Parker ate every single bite!
Mrs. Heather wanted to hold Hannah, so she got to watch Parker in his class.
Parker adored Mrs. Heather and we are so thankful we had her as Parker's teacher.
What an amazing year of preschool this has been for Parker! He has grown and learned so much. We are so thankful that he had 2 wonderful preschools and 3 fabulous teachers that helped him learn, grow and develop.
This was Parker's first day of preschool back in October 2011
And, this is Parker on his last day of preschool in May 2012
