Parker made this sweet plate for me at preschool - LOVE IT!
I had a wonderful Mother's Day weekend. I was able to spend lots of quality time with Parker and Hannah, and it was really nice.
Parker made this painting for me and on the back was a really sweet poem about being a Mom - definitely used a tissue - hah!
He also made this sweet handprint poem for me and a cute card!
Over the weekend, Brad had gotten us tickets to tour gardens of private homes in the Buckhead area (really, really nice part of Atlanta). It was a lot of fun and Brad got lots of ideas! The kids were great and we had a really nice weekend.
This garden was one of our favorites!
Sunday, after finishing the tour, we ate at OK Cafe (an Atlanta tradition). The cafe is always packed and we've only eaten there once since we lived here. The place was packed, but we were able to walk right in and get seated (very important when you have 2 little kiddos)!
Well, about 5 minutes after we sat down, the power went out! We ended up eating our entire lunch in the dark, with only the daylight shining through the windows - it was fun!
Parker was looking around, wondering what was going on!
We made the best of it and had a good time! Happy Mother's Day to all our family and friends!
