10 months!

This is the look of a serious 10 month old - don't you think?
I can't believe in 2 months our little man will be 1 year old - that is so hard to believe! Parker weighs 21lbs. and is about 19in. long. He still has a great personality - very laid back and is a good sleeper. We have mastered rolling over and Parker will get on all fours (with our help), but doesn't go anywhere yet. You can tell he wants to move, he just hasn't figured out how to yet. He does lunge forward, but falls. I am sure it won't be long!

Parker and Jake hanging out on the couch. I believe they were talking to each other, but there is no telling what they were saying. Probably something like, "Mom, please put the camera down and stop making those silly noises."


For Parker's 10 month birthday, we had to get him a new highchair. The space saver highchair we had reclined too much and we needed Parker to sit more upright. So, we have moved into a "big boy" highchair. We took him to Babies R Us and sat him in all the highchairs - it was funny and I should have taken a picture. The one we chose, he seemed to like and he looked the best in. I love the pattern on the highchair as well, so that helped in the decision making!

If you look closely you will see that Parker is chewing on a piece of celery. No worries, he did not bite off any of the celery, just gnawed on it a little.


Parker tasting his blocks. He loves picking things off the tray and he puts everything in his mouth. We are working on him picking up little "puffs" off the tray. He works so hard at picking it up and he is so focused. Today, he picked up a puff and laughed when he saw it in his hand.
