First Few Days at Home

I'm a little behind on my postings, but I'll get caught up soon!  These pics are from  us coming home from the hospital and the first few days at home.  I had Hannah Saturday morning and by that evening, Brad and I were ready to come home.  Saturday night, we were already asking the nurses if we could come home Sunday.  So, when Sunday rolled around, we got to the see my doctor and the pediatrician and thankfully both Hannah and I checked out fine, so we got the "all clear" to be able to go home!  We were so excited!

Hannah is ready to roll!

She took a little snooze on the way home.

Parker kept his eye on Hannah several times when she was in the swing - it was super cute!

Jake meeting Hannah for the first time and giving her a kiss.

Sweet Baby Hannah - 2 days old

Parker was showing Hannah how the rattle works - hah!

Daddy and Hannah "working out" together!

Whew, that workout was exhausting - hah!

Parker thought this was hilarious!

Hannah loves to swing!  We usually put her in the swing for the late morning/early afternoon and she takes about a 4-5 hour nap in this.  She is a great sleeper - she sleeps through everything!

Introducing Hannah Marie

Hannah Marie Kleeman made her debut on Saturday, November 19 at 8:56am, exactly 1 week before her due date.  Also, I was scheduled to be induced on Monday, November 21, but this girl didn't want to wait any longer!  I had another natural delivery, just like with Parker, and I am so thankful I was able to do that.  We got to the hospital at 6:30am and when they checked me, I was 8cm!  Then, 2 1/2 hours later, our little one was born!

Everyone tells us this girl is lucky - 7-7-7.

Getting to hold  Hannah for the first time!

Parker getting to meet his little sister for the first time - such a sweet grin!

Checking her out - hah!

Giving her a kiss on her feet - so sweet!

Daddy and Hannah

Our family of 4

We were so glad Grandma Henry was able to come down to keep Parker before we left for the hospital.  That was a huge help and relief to us, knowing that we didn't have to bother our neighbors to watch him!

This was Parker's face while all the "ooing and ahhing" and snapping pictures were taking place - hah!

Here the babies are lined up at the "car wash."  The hospital does the first bath about 6 hours after a baby is born and they do them in this nursery area.  The parents can stand at the window and watch.  Hannah is just below by the window, patiently waiting her turn - hah!

Miss Hannah after her bath - all clean and snuggly!

And, here's Hannah sticking her tongue out at the end of a long hard day!  I believe she was showing us her feelings towards all the pics we had taken - hah!

Here are pictures to compare Parker and Hannah when they were first born.  I think they look a little the same.  What do you think?

Parker's Latest

Parker had some fun activites this past week.  He helped Brad plant flower bulbs in our yard, he chased after Brad while he was mowing, and he had a fun Thanksgiving Day party.  Enjoy the pics!

Brad was teaching Parker about these flower bulbs and how to plant them correctly.

Parker did a good job putting a few in just the right spot!

Parker loves it when Brad gets his big mower out!

Chasing after Daddy!

Our sweet doggie Jake - he loves being outside too!

Parker's Thanksgiving Party at school - here was the "feast" table.  I was in charge of the decor and another mom provided the food.  The kids had a great time!

Parker and his classmates enjoying their Thanksgiving feast!

Notice how Parker is the only one without a plate???  That's because he was the first one to finish!  He was the only kiddo in his class to eat all his food.

Parker and his teacher Ms. Julia.  She is headed to Nashville, so she won't be his teacher anymore and we are very sad.  She was so sweet and worked well with Parker.  We do wish her the best though!
