Callaway Gardens

Brad's parents came into town to visit during our Spring Break, so Thursday we went to Callaway Gardens for the day.  It was a beautiful day and we had a fun time!

Parker LOVED being able to walk all over the paths - he is definitely Mr. Independent and did not want to hold anyone's hand!
Grandpa Kleeman and Parker - all the azaleas were so pretty!!

This is Parker's newest thing - mouth open and tongue out when he walks and runs! Hilarious!

This one was such a deep shade of pink - really pretty!

These red azaleas were awesome, but it's so hard to get a good pic with a 2 1/2 year old!

Parker loved this bridge!  He went back and forth on it several times.

My ultimate favorite - purple!

We had a fun time at Callaway!  Glad we all got to share it with Grandpa and Grandma Kleeman!

Sunday Funday!

Sunday was a fun day with our family!  It was gorgeous out, so Brad and I took Parker to a great park nearby, and we had fun playing on the playground with him!  He was all about the slides - he loved them!

This was Parker at the same park last February when he was 17 months old.  He wasn't so excited about the slide at that time - hah!

Parker liked the dinosaur (he liked it best when it was still and not when Brad was shaking it) hah!

Parker on the same dinosaur last February at 17 months.

Havin' fun walking all over the playground!

Parker was tired and had enough - see ya later playground!

After the playground, we went to the North GA outlets.  We actually went because Brad needed to get some Under Armour shirts for his work.  He literally goes shopping once or twice a year!  We got there right when they opened, so it wasn't too crowded, but by the time we left, it was packed!  It was such a beautiful day - I think everyone had the same idea we did!

I was hoping Parker was staring at the Nike store entrance, but I believe he was more fascinated with the tree - hah!

Parker loved his little ride on the carousel!

By the time we left the stores, Parker was wiped out.  He fell asleep right away in the car and slept the entire way home.

We had our first shopping boo-boo.  Parker walked all over outside the shops with me, so he was enjoying his "freedom."  He got going too fast at one point and he fell down.  Poor thing, scraped his knee, but he was tough and didn't even cry!  I actually didn't even know he scraped his knee until I put him in the stroller!

When we got home, we played outside until almost dark.  Parker loves being outside and so do we!  We take advantage of being outside as much as we can.

Parker and Daddy getting ready to race!

Go Parker Go!

Look at this . . . Brad is in the lead and I believe Parker is thinking, "What the heck?" Hah!

Parker pulled a sneaky move and veered right to get in front of Brad - hah!

Then, Parker was playing catch-me-if-you-can! Hah!

See ya later Dad!

Parker headed in for the night - time for a bath and milk before bed!  What a great family day we had!  LOVE those fun, easy family days!

Spaghetti and a Turkey!

So, lately we have done a whole lot of nothing.  It's been pretty quiet here at the Kleeman house, so we've just been making our own fun.  We had spaghetti for dinner one night and Parker really LOVES spaghetti.  Well, he loves any type of food, but I do think spaghetti is one of his faves.

This was a "fat-n-happy" boy after his spaghetti dinner!  Parker does a really good job using his fork to eat with, and the night we had spaghetti, he was using both his fork and spoon - hah!  I captured a little video, but of course, once the camera came on - he only used his fork.  However, he kept his spoon in his other hand, just in case - hah!

After dinner, the boys chilled out on the floor together for a while, then . . .

It was time for wrestle-mania!  Parker loves rolling around and "wrestling" with daddy!

Saturday, Parker and I ran a few errands and went to Sam's.  This was Parker's first time going to Sam's and I think he was pretty fascinated by the entire store!
On our way, we passed this house and I just happened to look over and I saw this TURKEY!!  Look at it . . . isn't it awesome!!

It was just walking around the front yard of this house!  It was so cool - Parker and I probably watched him for about 10 minutes.  I've seen turkey's before, but never a Tom like this one where all his feathers were out.

After a few minutes, he walked around the side of the house and we drove off.  We actually passed the turkeyfirst, then I turned the car around and went back so I could take some pics.  I'm glad I did, because I just thought this was the coolest thing ever!
