Happy Easter to all our friends and family - we hope you all had a great one! We had a fun Easter at the Kleeman house - Grandma and Grandpa Kleeman came to visit for the weekend! We ate yummy food, went to our 2 favorite gardens, had a nice Easter service at church and enjoyed spending time together. The kids had a fun Easter as well - Parker hunted Easter eggs and Hannah watched for a little bit!
Here is little Hannah in her Easter outfit. This was Parker's when he wore it at 7 months (Hannah is wearing it at 4 1/2 months)!
Parker wearing the same outfit at 7 months!
Parker is ready for his egg hunt!
Jake found his eggs right away! Yes, I put doggie treats in 3 of the eggs for Jake! You all knew I wasn't going to leave Jake out - hah!
Success!! Jake was able to crack open the egg himself (he mastered this last year) - hah!
Parker on the hunt for eggs, along with Jake. After Jake found his eggs, he had to sniff all of Parker's eggs to make sure there weren't any more treats!
I didn't hide the eggs too hard, but we still needed to show Parker where the eggs were. Then, once he saw them, he picked them up and put them in his basket - he did a good job!
Hannah was chillin' while Parker was hunting for eggs.
Parker paused long enough for me to snap a pic, then he was off to run all over the backyard!
Sweet little smiley Hannah!

We enjoyed the Easter weekend with Grandma and Grandpa Kleeman!
Saturday, before Easter, we were planning on taking the kids to the zoo. It was a gorgeous 75 degree day, a light breeze and sunny, so we thought it would be a perfect day to see the animals! Well, I guess everyone else in Atlanta thought it would be a good idea too, because when we pulled up to the zoo, the parking lots were packed! I have never seen the zoo parking lots so full!
So, we decided to skip the zoo and go to the Atlanta Botanical Gardens instead. We made a good choice, because it wasn't too crowded at the gardens and Parker had a great time walking on all the paths!
Little Hannah in the carrier just hanging out. She really enjoys getting carried in it because she loves looking around!
A little caterpillar friend we saw in the edible garden.
The edible garden was really neat - it had all sorts of veggies, fruits and herbs growing!
Taking a rest break with Grandma and Grandpa Kleeman
My little buddy hanging out with me!
I loved this bullfrog - he was huge! They had a small pond and there were 4 bullfrogs hanging out in the water. The picture doesn't do justice to the frog's size - I have never seen a frog that big before!
Grandma Kleeman and Hannah - all smiles after some yummy lunch!
The fun attraction for me was the frog exhibit. To me, frogs are just neat little creatures and I love looking at them (from a distance or in a tank)!
This is a blue frog from South America - love the color!
Can you see the 2 frogs?? At first, when you are looking at the entire tank, you totally miss them, but they are on the leaf (green with white specs). I thought these guys were super cool and couldn't believe how well they blended in! I had to go back to the tank a 2nd time to find them!
Note to self - if you see this frog somewhere - go the other way! This is the Golden Poison Frog, the world's most toxic frog! One frog carries enough toxins to kill up to 6 people!! They come in 2 colors - bright golden yellow and a whitish, green. They are really cool little creatures, but I was super glad they were in a tank!
After a stroll through "frog town," Parker and Daddy ran around in the open grass area.
We had a fun day at the gardens and a great weekend with Grandma and Grandpa Kleeman! We are so glad they were able to come down and visit and spend Easter weekend with us.
