Fun at the Apple Orchard!

The past several days, Parker has been under the weather.  I think part of it has to do with him teething, but part of it is a virus he's probably gotten by being at school.  He got to feeling better over the weekend, so we thought it would be good to keep our plans with our friends, and head out to the apple farm for a tractor ride and to pick apples.  We've had this fun outing planned for 2 weeks, so we were really glad Parker was feeling up to it!

Below are many pics from our fun day - enjoy!

Parker with John and Jinna.  They are our neighbors and they planned this fun outing.  They have a cabin in North GA, so after the apple orchard, we all went to their cabin for a cookout.  It was so much fun!
Parker with his new buddy, Peter.  We have become good friends with Peter's mom and dad.
Mrs. Jinna being silly with Parker.  She was giving him water drops from the straw - it was hilarious!
On the tractor, on our way to pick apples at the orchard!
Hangin' on to dad!
Trying to find just the right apple!  If Parker had an apple in his hand he didn't like, he would throw it down.
The apple orchard was great.  You walk through certain rows, pick as many as you can fit in your bag, and you can eat as much as you want!
I think we found it!
Brad searching for an apple to munch on!
Parker's tolerance was up on picking and looking for apples.  He wanted to sit and look at the grass blades - go figure!  Brad was so proud - hah!
Hangin' out with Mrs. Jinna on the way back from picking apples on the orchard.  Jinna is so good with Parker.  We love her!
Parker in his floppy hat at the orchard store.  This store has everything related to apples.  We usually come here once or twice a year.  We always get apple cider, white fudge covered apples with pecans, and a Dutch apple pie.  Oh my, those apples and the pie are just heavenly!
The gang at the end of a fun day at the apple orchard!
