Halloween 2012 was awesome! We started the day off at Gymboree class where the kids could wear their costumes. Hannah loves playing at Gymboree and the instructor, Kari, is fabulous!
She loves crawling up the slide then sliding down backwards on her belly!
The log roll helps Hannah push and walk at the same time! She has gotten so much better at this over the past 2 weeks - she even took her 1st step last week at Gymboree after doing this!! I think she knows it too - that's why she's clapping for herself - hah!
After Hannah's Gymboree class, we went to Parker's preschool at the church for his Halloween costume parade and party. If I say so myself, his costume was the best ever! Even Fran, the director, said everyone was just going on and on about his costume!!
If you look closely, you can see several parents grinning and laughing!
Walking with his favorite teacher, Mrs. Angela
Mrs. Angela and Parker are best buds - she really takes care of him and we all love her very much!
Hannah was a trooper! She sat in her stroller during the parade and party (about an hour) and hardly made a sound!
The gnome enjoyed his Halloween snack very much!
They had chex mix, a piece of cheese cut out as a witch's head, a "finger" sandwich (which was a half piece of bread rolled up with a turkey slice and strawberry jam and a slice of baby carrot for the fingernail) and 2 apple slices and marshmallows (representing a mouth with teeth).
This was jello in a petri dish - so creative!
He even licked his fingers and savored the last little bit he could get off - hah!
His teachers, Mrs. Angela and Mrs. Melissa
I had to post this pic - it's too cute not to! They definitely look like brother and sister here!
We all had a fun time at Parker's party!
Halloween evening we decorated our cookies - I thought they turned out pretty good! For dinner we had chili and I made sausage balls - perfect for a cool night!
When the kids woke up from their naps, we ate dinner, then decorated our pumpkins. Hannah was so excited about getting to decorate her 1st pumpkin!
Parker hard at work on his masterpiece - hah!
The finished product!
Parker got this pumpkin at school, so we finished decorating him at home.
Hannah's turn with her little pumpkin!

Parker and Hannah's pumpkins - Halloween 2012
After decorating the pumpkins, I got everyone dressed and on the porch for pictures. Now, trying to take a "good" picture with a 4-yr old and an almost 1-yr old proved to be a bit challenging, so below are the best ones I could get - hah!
Parker and Hannah were giving Jake a pet before we headed out to trick-or-treat!
Parker was so done with the pictures - he was ready to get candy!!
Final picture before trick-or-treating! Jake, the caterpillar, was such a trooper!
Parker's 1st house - he took off running down their driveway - hah!
Anxiously awaiting with his bag ready!!
Hannah was all smiles too as she waited with her bucket!
Parker hit the jackpot at this particular house - his bag was getting full and heavy!
We trick-or-treated for about an hour and we were all exhausted! Parker had a full bag of candy, Hannah almost fell asleep in the stroller and I was sweating - hah!
Back home after a fun night of trick-or-treating!
Parker with his bag of candy waiting patiently before dumping it all out!
Candy jackpot!
Hannah got to experience her 1st Halloween and even got some candy in her bucket - she was so excited!!
She was fascinated by the few pieces of candy in her bucket and all she wanted to do was take them out and play with them!
The gnome got a bedtime story from Dad before going to bed. Parker absolutely loved his costume - he probably would have worn it to bed - hah! He looked really cute, as did Hannah, and what another fabulous Halloween we were all able to share together!
