Thanksgiving in Nebraska

We had a great time in Nebraska for Thanksgiving!  We always have a blast while we're there, but the time goes by so fast!  We always drive and it usually takes us about 15 hours, however, at the start of our trip - 3o minutes into our drive, we were completely stopped on the interstate at 4:30am!!  Brad and I couldn't believe it!  We were parked on the interstate for 1 hour 15 minutes!  Parker was not sleeping, so we got him out of his seat and we played with him in the front seat.  He had a blast pushing all the buttons!  So, the trip there took a little longer than usual, but we made it!

Parker didn't sleep much at all.  For a total of 16 hours drive time, Parker slept a total of 2 hours.  However, Jake slept the majority of the way!

While we were in Nebraska, Brad got to hunt several days and I relaxed, enjoyed the time with family, and shopped on Black Friday - Parker-free!!

We also visited Brad's grandma.  She had this classic metal top and Parker was fascinated by it!  She also gave Parker some books and a popper toy.

Parker with his Great Aunt Corrine and Great Aunt Anita.  We had Thanksgiving at Brad's aunt Anita's and the food is always so good!  Thanks so much Anita for a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Grandpa Kleeman reading Parker a story.  Parker loves storytime!

This is Emma - Anita's doggie (Brad's aunt).  Emma will go to the water cooler, push down on the spout with her mouth, then drink the water from the holder at the bottom.  It was awesome!  The water company should totally do a commercial with Ms. Emma!!
