We went to Nebraska for Thanksgiving and we had a nice time. The weather was awesome - in the 60s, so we picked a fabulous week to be there! Brad got to go hunting a few times, the grandparents got to see the kids and I was able to catch up on a few things while there.
Hannah turned 1 while we were there, so we celebrated her birthday by going to the zoo one day and the next day we took the kids to the children's museum. Parker and Hannah both had a blast running and exploring at the museum.
Hannah was intrigued by this ball staying in the air
Parker found a mower and mowed the "grass" at the farm - hah!
Hannah enjoyed herself tremendously at the water table. By the time she was finished, her shirt was soaked - hah!
Hannah thought she was "big stuff" picking up this block - hah!
Grandma Kleeman and Parker enjoyed the carousel ride together
Parker got to "drive" the city bus
Thanksgiving morning the kids were ready for a fun day!
This was the look I got from both of them when I sat them down to take a quick picture - hah!
On Thankgiving, we went to Aunt Anita's house where we had yummy turkey, stuffing and all the trimmings and we celebrated Hannah turning 1 with cake and ice cream!
My two sick patients . . . after eating, Brad had not been feeling well, so he decided to go to the clinic. Hannah had been fussy with a runny nose, so we all hopped in the car and headed to the clinic. We found out Brad had a sinus infection and Hannah had an ear infection. We were able to get medicine and it seemed to help right away. Now that we're back home, I can report that both patients are feeling 100%!!
Hannah loved Aunt Anita's doggie. She kept petting her and even rolled over her at one point - hah!
Parker and Hannah with Grandma Kleeman and their Great Aunt Anita and Corrine. We always try to get a picture each Thanksgiving.

We got to visit with Great Grandma Kleeman while we were there. So nice to always get to see her and have the kids visit with her. This was the first time she got to meet Hannah!
The kids did a great job on the 14.5hr car ride there and back. It was a long trip and we were certainly glad to get out of the car and be back at our house. I was very proud of the kids for how well they did being off their routine for a week!
